DIVA Indonesia Rossa released a documentary titled ‘All Access to Rossa 25 Shining Years’. The film directed by Ani Ema Susanti will show Rossa’s life journey during her 25 years of work and will be shown simultaneously in Indonesian cinemas on August 1, 2024.
Taking the title All Access, in fact the audience will be given open access to Rossa’s life and career journey as a singer. The personal story of the singer whose real name is Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, starting from divorce to the story behind the songs inspired by a number of ex-boyfriends will be presented.
“Actually, in this film, I just tell stories, telling what I go through every day without thinking whether it’s good or not. Basically, every day, all I think about is how to give my best, both in work and in family,” said Rossa in a press screening of her documentary in Jakarta, Monday (29/7).
With a duration of around 90 minutes, the audience will witness another side of Rossa that has never been revealed. The audience’s journey will start from Rossa’s first career in 1996 through the song Nada-Nada Cinta, then the story behind the solo concert ’25 Shining Years Concert’, to how Rossa is as a mother.
If many people think that documentaries will be boring, throw away that thought, because in this film the audience will be entertained with a series of Rossa’s hit songs such as Hey Ladies, Tegar, Ayat-Ayat Cinta to Hijrah Cinta. Rossa’s cheerful personality and full of jokes and laughter will also provide another color in the film.
“I already said at the beginning with Ms. Ani Ema (Director), in this film I don’t want to praise myself, so what is shown (in the film) is more normal, both on and off stage. I even said to my friends, it’s okay to show me as I am, I am indeed full of shortcomings so just show me as I am,” said Rossa.

Rossa hopes that this film can give the public a picture of the conditions of singers behind the scenes. The 45-year-old woman also wants this film to be an inspiration for young talents in the Indonesian music industry.
“Hopefully this film can be an inspiration for all Indonesian people, especially young talents in the music industry who are struggling to build a career. To be able to be at this point, I also went through a struggle that was not easy, full of dedication, hard work and always innovating,” he said. (M-3)
