In Yakutia, in recent days, there has been an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, more than a hundred cases are detected per day. As YSIA was told in the Republican Department of Rospotrebnadzor, the growth is associated with the circulation of various genovariants of the Omicron strain.
“Analysis of the age structure of infected residents shows that the majority of cases are still in the adult population – 74.8% versus 25.2% of children.
The disease proceeds mainly in a mild form with a clinical picture of ARVI. We keep the situation under control,” the ministry’s press service said.
Also in the republic, the epidemic threshold of SARS was exceeded by 25%, in total 8359 cases were registered. At the same time, the indicator is lower than the previous week by 20.5%.
“According to the results of laboratory monitoring of the circulation of respiratory viruses over the past week, in the structure of positive findings, predominantly the circulation of viruses of influenza etiology is noted, with influenza B viruses dominating. Among the viruses of non-influenza etiology, PC viruses predominate, and the circulation of rhinoviruses, parainfluenza viruses, adenoviruses and others is also noted” , – added in management.
