“Rosana” has announced that the price of gasoline is reduced by 10 baht. It can be done for sure because the difference in the price of finished diesel fuel is sold at the refinery. with the actual cost of diesel fuel differing up to 11.03 baht/liter, indicating that no prime minister in any government dared to change the oil price structure unfairly and take advantage of the people of Thailand
Today (August 27) Ms. Rosana Tositrakul, a former Bangkok senator and subcommittee on Public Service, Energy and Environment. Consumer Organization Council Post a message via Facebook stating that Reduce the oil price by 10 baht. It can be done for sure. It’s up to the Prime Minister whether he dares to do it or not.
Due to Dr. Arthit Urairat posted on Facebook, “The first thing Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan, acting as Prime Minister, should do is to order the price of oil and gas to be the same as Malaysia or at least 10 baht per liter.”
“If General Prawit dares to do it for the people General Prawit can become Prime Minister.”
As of August 25, 2022, Dubai crude oil price announced by Thai Oil Company is at $99.79/barrel. equal to 22.62 baht/liter while Singapore diesel is at $152.36/barrel, equal to 34.54 baht/litre. indicates that the diesel refining value is high 11.84 baht/liter Normal GRM is around 4-7. Coins/barrel or regarding 1-1.50 baht/liter
Now in the midst of the Ukrainian-Russia war causing higher refining price manipulation
From the normal price to $52, partly because refineries in the world market are less than demand because they were closed during the coronavirus crisis. But Thailand has no shortage of refineries. All 6 refineries still refine waste oil. until exports are worth hundreds of billions per year. But Thai refineries have benefited from unreasonably high global refining margins, causing severe inflation, reflected by high oil prices.
The actual price of refined diesel is 22.62 +1.50 = 24.12 baht/liter, but the diesel price at the refinery has not yet been added tax. and compensation from the oil fund is 35.15 baht/liter (26 Aug. 2022)
The difference in the price of finished diesel fuel is sold at the refinery. with the actual cost of diesel fuel varying up to 35.15-24.12 = 11.03 baht/liter
So the price reduction10 baht/liter, so it can be done for sure.
The retail price of diesel in front of the pump on August 26, 2022 was 34.94 baht/liter and there was another 4.57 baht/liter of fuel fund compensation, equal to the diesel price up to 39.51 baht/liter.
If the price of diesel in front of an unreasonable distillation down 10 baht and do not have to use the 4.57 oil fund to compensate, the diesel price will be 39.51 – 10 – 4.57 = 24.94 baht / liter
If the Prime Minister orders to stop mixing B100 bio-oil first during this period Reduce the price of diesel fuel another 2.67 baht / liter and if canceled the price of importing from Singapore (import parity) and quality improvement and other miscellaneous costs will reduce the price of oil once more 1-1.50 baht/liter
Reducing the price of oil by 10 baht So it can be done, of course, but no prime minister in any government has dared to change the oil price structure unfairly. And take advantage of the people of Thailand. Then Gen. Prawit of the Forest Foundation Will you dare!!??
