Roslea Mourns Passing of Beloved Community Member Hughie Beggan
The Roslea community is deeply saddened by the peaceful passing of Hughie Beggan on Wednesday, November 27th, at his home. Surrounded by the love of his family, Hughie’s tranquil passing brings sorrow to all who knew him.
Hughie was a devoted husband to Rosaleen and a cherished father to Yvonne, Gene, and Stephen. His heartwarming presence will be sorely missed by his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and his extensive family circle.

Pre-deceased by his beloved daughter, Diane, and other deceased Beggan family members, Hughie leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. His memory will forever be a source of comfort to those whose lives he touched.

Hughie’s remains will repose at his home from 6:00 p.m. this evening (Thursday) until removal on Saturday morning at 10:15 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Tierney’s Church, Roslea, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
