Bulging order books

In the second quarter of 2023, the group of companies compensated for the backlog and negative effects of the past cyber attack. “As a result, the operational turnaround was achieved,” says the automotive specialist. With the completion of 100 vehicles in June alone at the Leonding location, “a top performance was achieved”.

Regarding the outlook, it said: “The order books in the firefighting industry are bulging, so that the industry can generally expect sales growth again in 2023. (…) Assuming a further improvement in the provision of truck chassis, the Rosenbauer Group Board of Management expects 2023 sales of over one billion euros. The EBIT margin should be around 3 percent.”
