Though, the bus driver’s maneuver was thwarted by a vehicle approaching at high speed from behind. This forced the bus driver to swerve left, resulting in a collision with the Toyota Agya. “So,the bus sideswiped the Agya, which was traveling in the same direction in front of him,on his left,” added Budi.
To avoid a more catastrophic impact, the bus driver made a sharp right turn, causing the bus to overturn. “To avoid a traffic accident with the Agya, the bus driver swerved right, and the bus rolled over,” Budi clarified.
Thankfully, the occupants of the Toyota Agya escaped unharmed.Three passengers on the bus sustained injuries—one believed to have a fracture, and two others with minor injuries.
The accident caused notable traffic congestion on the Semarang-Solo toll road. Police officers worked diligently to clear the overturned bus, allowing a single lane to reopen for traffic flow. “We are re-engineering the road; we are reducing traffic flow by diverting traffic.
