Lorenzo Heredia does not stop growing in his first experience in European elite cycling.
This Saturday andhe cyclist from Roca, in his best performance since he was in Belgium a little over a month ago, finished second in the 86 kilometers of Evergem, riding for the Java Start Junior Team, the cycling organization that develops young riders from Latin America to compete in the Old Continent.

“It was a very fast race, with an average for 86 km. of 44.66 km. per hour. It was not a technical circuit like other times, you might take the curves very quickly and without so much wind, “said Lolo on his social networks. “With a little less than half the race remaining, I attacked to prevent a possible escape, to hold on to the front and join those who come and go with them”.

The race was won by Englishman Charlie Abraham. “I felt very good for the sprint, but that power that the Englishman had was not going to be able to match. I am satisfied with the second place”, completed Heredia.

In principle, Lolo will remain in Oudenaarde, Belgium, until June, but if the team is satisfied with his evolution, he will stay for three more months. If he continues like this, there is no doubt that Heredia’s continuity in the organization is assured.
