The victim is called Eleonora, a Brussels woman of Italian origin, according to our colleagues from SudPresse. She is regarding fifty years old. Obviously, it was her ex-companion who would have killed her. It would be a certain Hassan, a man in his twenties known to the police. He would also have recently been released from prison.

According to SudPresse, Eleonora would be a “battered woman”. She had her throat slit in her home, an apartment where she had sublet “for regarding two years” a room to Osama. It was he who made the macabre discovery. Our colleagues from SudPresse collected his testimony. The roommate talks regarding “fights every day” between Hassan and Eleonora. The police intervened several times.

The young man would then have returned to prison, giving no sign of life, until last March. Hassan wanted to reconnect with Eleonora, but she would have “cleared” him.

The young man returned on Tuesday to ring her doorbell. Around 3 p.m., Osama came out of his room and found Eleonora lying on the sofa under a blanket. “When I lifted the blanket, I saw that it had its throat cut,” says the roommate.

Police and paramedics arrived on the scene. But Eleonora sadly passed away. The suspected killer is on the run.
