The hopefuls of the Montreal Canadiens ended the rookie tournament on a high note, Sunday in Buffalo, with a convincing victory of 7 to 2 once morest the young players of the Ottawa Senators.

Massicotte had scored a goal before this fight. His teammates Angus Crookshank also threaded the needle in defeat.
In search of an invitation for the big camp of the “Sens”, Massicotte accumulated six goals and 18 points in 57 games with the Cataractes of Shawinigan last season.
