Norway’s Casper Ruud reached his first grand slam final, following defeating Croatian Marin Cilic in the French Open semi-finals, “Roland Garros”.

Norway’s Casper Ruud reached the final of the Roland Garros tournament, succeeding for the first time in his career to reach a Grand Slam final.

Rudd defeated Croatian Marin Cilic 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2, in a match that lasted for two hours and 55 minutes.

Ruud, ranked eighth in the world (23 years), will face Spain’s Rafael Nadal, the fifth in the world, who is seeking to crown the 14th title in Paris following passing the semi-finals following German Alexander Zverev withdrew due to injury.

The final represents a great challenge for the Norwegian, who did not play once morest Nadal in any confrontation, as “Rafa” did not lose any final in Paris.
