Cristiano Ronaldo, the 37-year-old Manchester United star, appeared for the first time, two days following he announced the death of his child during birth.
And the British media circulated a picture taken of Ronaldo today, Wednesday, in his car as he arrived at the “Red Devils” training headquarters.
Yesterday, Ronaldo announced the death of his son during his birth, and at the same time announced the birth of his deceased son’s twin.
Ronaldo published in his accounts on social media, a statement signed by him and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, in which he said: “It is sad to announce that our infant son has passed away. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live that moment with some hope and joy.”
“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their care and support,” he added.
He continued, “We are devastated by this loss, we ask everyone to maintain our privacy for the time being.”
The statement concluded by saying: “Our little girl, you will be our angel. We will always love you.”
Ronaldo missed the match that his team lost 4-0 to Liverpool on Tuesday in a postponed meeting of the 30th round of the English Premier League football.
