Ronaldo Nazario, the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan player, confirmed that he attended the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday to support Karim Benzema, pointing out that he is the closest candidate to the award this year.
Ronaldo added, in statements to “On Time Sports”, by saying: “It is a beautiful thing to be in Paris, a city where I have many friends.”
He continued, “This is Karim Benzema’s night, and I’m here for him.”
Karim Benzema led Real Madrid to the Champions League and La Liga title last year.
The concert begins at nine in the evening, Cairo time, and will be held at the Chatelet Theater in the French capital, Paris, and presented by the famous “France Football” magazine.
The list of the best players from 28 to 11 has been announced, and the rest of the list is scheduled to be announced in the coming hours.
