World number three, German Alexander Zverev, qualifies for the quarter-finals of the Rome Open Masters, by defeating Alex de Minaur, and Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Russia’s Karan Khachanov.
World number three, Alexander Zverev, qualified for the quarter-finals of the Rome Open, with 1,000 points, following beating Australian Alex de Minaur, in two sets without a response, on Thursday.
Zverev managed to settle the match in one hour and 50 minutes, 6-3 7-6 (7-5), and he will face in the quarter-finals the Croatian Marin Cilic, or the Chilean Christian Garin.

In another match, the world’s fifth seed, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, managed to reserve a place in the quarter-finals of the same tournament, following defeating Russian Karan Khachanov (24th seed), in two sets for one, 4-6, 6-0, 6-3, in an hour. and 53 minutes.
Tsitsipas will play in the quarter-finals once morest Italian Janek Sener, who qualified at the expense of Serbian Filip Krajinovic.
