Dragoș-Alexandru Huțan and his colleague, Anamaria-Cătălina Dinu, are currently in Beijing, in the annual experience exchange camp between young people from China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
The event takes place between March 25 and April 1 under the auspices of “Podul Viitorului”. The first edition was in 2017.
19 young people from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, North Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are participating in this year’s camp. On this occasion, they will present the youth development policies of the countries they come from and other topics of common interest.
They will visit the capital Beijing and the city of Cangzhou in Hebei province, with the agenda covering the digital economy, history, culture and youth activities.
“I believe it is appropriate to try to take over at least part of what the Chinese government has managed to implement in terms of education, health, entrepreneurship and jobs, and we aim to guide young Romanians to show more affinity for traditions , culture, customs, including showing a high interest in promoting local products”declared Anamaria-Cătălina Dinu.
“For US, China represents the example of a united people and we are especially excited to learn, try and understand how it works, not only the entire political, economic, social system in your country, but also the complexity of the lifestyle specific to this culture”Miss Dinu also said.
The “Future Bridge” international camp offers a great opportunity for exchanges between Chinese and Central and Eastern European youth, especially following the pandemic.
Referring to the promotion of collaboration between young Romanians and Chinese, the two Romanians said that their deep desire is for young people to participate in as many exchanges of experience as possible in order to discover, in this way, as much information as possible regarding the culture of each country and to discuss topics of common interest.
