At around 11 p.m. the man was traveling on Geboltskirchner Straße towards Geboltskirchen when he came across the shoulder on the right in the municipality of Eberschwang and skidded.
The car overturned and landed in the adjacent meadow. An alcohol test showed the 38-year-old driver had a blood alcohol level of 2.12. He was taken to Ried Hospital with minor injuries and will be reported to the authorities, according to the police.
