Roku connects to Apple Music

Apple Music exports to the Roku platform. Very present in the United States and Canada, and much less elsewhere in the world, the Roku system welcome a new dedicated app for Apple’s music service. Users of the brand’s products, whether streaming boxes, the Streambar soundbar or connected televisions, can now retrieve the app and connect to it.

They will only have to enter their identifiers to enjoy the catalog of 90 million songs, or register directly on the Roku Channel Store and benefit from a month of free listening (you can benefit from 6 months free with purchase of HomePod mini, AirPods Pro, AirPods 2/3, AirPods Max and select Beats devices).

Video content available in 4K can also be played in this definition on compatible devices. On the other hand, lossless music and Dolby Atmos are not there for the moment (these two functions are present in the Android app). Apple Music is also present on the PlayStation 5, Samsung and LG connected TVs, Amazon Echo devices, Sonos and Nest, and also, let’s not forget, Windows PCs with good old iTunes.
