Rohit bhai took the review out of fear of you; Is it so now? Conversation goes viral

India defeated England to win the second T20 match and the series at Edgbaston. When India’s batting, bowling, fielding, wicket-keeping and all other players worked like a well-oiled machine, England had no choice but to lose.

Star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar played a key role in India’s victory. The player took three wickets by conceding only 15 runs including a maiden in three overs.

The player repeated the habit of making one of the openers a golden duck in the second match as well. Bhuvi started off by getting star batsman Jason Roy into the hands of captain Rohit Sharma on the very first ball of England’s innings. Buttler was also dismissed in his second over.

Bhuvi was dismissed when Jos Buttler was caught in the hands of wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.

The umpire was not ready to give the wicket in the first phase. But soon Bhuvneshwar called for a review and was found to have touched the ultra-edge and Buttler was out.

Now, India’s star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and super-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal are talking regarding the interesting incidents that happened when that review was taken. Both spoke on BCCI’s special talk show Chahal TV.

Bhuvneshwar said that Rohit Sharma took that review with fear as Chahal was supposed to bowl the next over. But Chahal’s answer is the same.

What is their conversation;

Chahal: I was the first to come forward because I heard it from mid-on.

Bhubaneswar: Which catch? Everyone had heard it except Pant.

Chahal: Then you should have made it clear that you heard it.

Bhuvneshwar: Maybe, if he didn’t get out, we knew you would be the next bowler. Or Rohit took the review because he was afraid that if Buttler is not out, you will be bowled in the next over.

Chahal accepted the star’s words with a smile.

It was Bhuvneshwar who dismissed Butler in both matches of the series.

The final match of the series will be played at Trent Bridge on Sunday.
