Among them, Strix Scar uses the diagonal pattern of the top plate (the first picture) and the replaceable “Armor cap” design. The concept of the former continues to the inside and becomes a translucent triangular area on the keyboard surface, which is quite distinctive. Scar is divided into 15-inch and 17-inch versions, both of which can choose the highest Core i9-12900H processor and RTX 3080 Ti display chip, and you can purchase a 360Hz FHD panel or a 240Hz 4K panel.

Next, there are the siblings of G15 and M16. They are almost the same size, but if you look at it carefully, you will find that the M16’s 165Hz refresh rate QHD panel is 16:10, so the screen area is fully occupied, unlike the G15’s 240Hz QHD panel. There is a thick bottom border. In addition, the G15 uses the Ryzen 6000 series processor, and the highest RTX3080Ti is the independent display; while the M16 is the 12th generation Core i9 of the Intel camp, and the RTX 3080 Ti is the independent display.

The upper covers of G15 and M16 are designed with colored light foils showing through the holes, which can achieve an effect similar to “RGB lighting” without using LED lights. But to be honest, it is not easy to see the effect under indoor lighting, and the white version of the case is harder to see than the black one.

Finally, there is the Zephyrus G14, which is a lap smaller than the previous two. It uses a 16:10 120Hz refresh rate QHD panel, with AMD’s Ryzen 6000 series processors, but the display chip uses Radeon RX 6800S.

However, unlike G15 / M16, G14 really allows the LED lights to show through the small holes, and you can arrange the patterns you want according to your needs.
