Horacio Rodriguez Larreta participated in the opening ceremony of the 135th edition of the Rural Exhibition of Palermo that will end tomorrow. “The absence of the ruling party here is one more sign that it turns its back on the field, that it steps on his head and that every time he sticks his head out he hits him once more. The field is going to be a priority for all Argentines once more, ”he said in dialogue with the press.
“The other day I visited this place and I made specific proposals to the field, point by point. We are going to make the countryside one of the engines of recovery. The field represents work, it also represents 70 percent of Argentine exports. It represents future,” he stated.
They also asked him regarding the agreement reached with the FM: “It is one more patch. Patch following patch and we continue with inflation of 120 percent per year that is eating people’s pockets. Retirees who receive a minimum retirement cannot eat enough, that is the true reality of inflation in Argentina”.
During the visit, the presidential candidate was accompanied by leaders, members of his Cabinet and legislators such as Diego Santilli, Felipe Miguel, Jorge Macri, Clara Muzzio, José Luis Giusti, Eugenio Burzaco, José Luis Espert, Carmen Polledo, Waldo Wolff, Diego Fernández , Facundo Carrillo, Leticia Montiel, Cinthya Hotton, Alvaro García Resta, Héctor Gatto, Roy Cortina and Juan Facundo Del Gaiso, among others.
The opening speech was made by the president of the Argentine Rural Society (SRA), Nicolás Pino. He was critical of the Government, he referred to the current situation in the countryside and, fundamentally, to the general situation of the country. At the end of his words, he summoned Rodríguez Larreta to the stage, who accompanied him and waved a small Argentine flag, amid applause in the stands.
During all these days, Rodríguez Larreta carried out different activities in La Rural: he gave a speech in the debate of the presidential candidates; he exchanged ideas with people; he listened to the proposals of the rural producers; he toured the stands; and conducted journalistic interviews.
This edition of the Rural Exhibition that is regarding to end has the participation of more than 4,500 animal exhibitors. It allows you to visit 400 commercial stands, among which there are laboratories, agro-input companies, animal nutrition, agricultural machinery, automobiles, financial entities, genetic centers, provinces, gastronomy, food trucks and saddlers.
In addition, there are recreational and educational circuits, regional product shopping tours, activities involving different breeds of cattle, 4×4 truck demonstrations, shows, parades of champions, exhibitions and demonstrations, the breeder’s corner, youth night and guided tours.
Adults and children can take advantage of their visits to the property to learn regarding the garden, composting, biodiversity, live cooking show, the open-air farm, the rounds in shorties and the demonstrative dairy.
