The music takes back its rights
Shortly before 3 p.m., the Arlon group Marcel was in charge of waking up the plain. Festival-goers who had the courage to brave the wind were able to attend a rock’n’roll show full of energy and spontaneity. Despite a crowd still slightly asleep, the quartet quickly rekindled the flame, thanks in particular to the title “Your turn to cry” which carried the crowd away.

This good surprise gave way to a slight emotional lift since, while a few dozen fans were already gathering near the main stage, bad news fell: Σtella will not be playing today. Because of the cancellation, only a few fans of Orelsan, scheduled for 11 p.m. tonight, are therefore on the front lines of the Last Arena. Fortunately, later in the day, the Caribbean artist Meryl came to make everyone dance on the main stage. Something to warm up the atmosphere!
Rap/electro, winning combo
On Thursday, we were talking to you about Glauque, a group from Namur whose talk/electro recipe won over festival-goers. This Saturday, it was Winnterzuko’s turn to distill his recipe. In a different style, he also handles electronic music and emo texts. The rapper did not hide his pleasure to be present: “I remember all the open mics in Paris that I was able to do, when I was alone. Today we are in Dour, it’s incredible !” Taking advantage of the effectiveness of his last album, the young artist put the public in his pocket before turning it completely on “Trotsky”, his greatest success.

Another rapper to come tonight: Orelsan. It is probably one of the biggest headliners of the Dour 2023 festival and the public is not mistaken: from the empty main stage to the food stalls, the T-shirts bearing the image of the French are legion. All agree to meet this evening, downwind.
