Rockies End Giants’ 11-Game Winning Streak: Tovar’s Three-Run Homer Leads the Way

SAN FRANCISCO — Ezequiel Tovar hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh inning and helped Austin Gomber win his third straight start. The Colorado Rockies snapped an 11-game losing streak once morest the Giants with a 5-2 win on Friday.

Tovar connected off Tyler Rogers (4-3) for his ninth of the season. Austin Gomber (7-7) allowed two runs off Brandon Crawford’s game-tying home run in the sixth inning, giving up five hits in six innings.
