HOUSTON (AP) — Dillon Brooks scored 23 points and the Houston Rockets ended a three-game losing streak by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-101 on Wednesday night.
Aaron Holiday scored a season-high 22 points off the bench and tied his career-high with six 3-pointers. He also added six rebounds in 27 minutes as Houston improved to 9-9, all of its wins coming at home.
Alperen Sengun had 21 points, six rebounds and seven assists for the Rockets, Jabari Parker added a season-high 18 boards to help Houston win the battle on the glass 53-30.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 33 points, making 13 of 18 field goals. The rest of Oklahoma City’s four starters added 29 points on 10-of-38 shooting from the field.
Jalen Williams had 13 points for the Thunder, while rookie center Chet Holmgren finished with four points and six blocks. Oklahoma City is 13-7 following starting the game having won 8 of 10 games.
