New keyboard from Roccat with the Magma Mini 60%. This is an ultra-compact keyboard since it adopts a 60% format. However, it stands out for its membrane switches and water resistance.
Magma Mini 60%: a tiny waterproof membrane keyboard!
With this new model, the brand announces a very small keyboard in 60%. As we can see, it lacks a lot of keys to improve the compactness of the latter. In fact, the numeric keypad disappears, as do the navigation keys or the function key line.
For dimensions, the brand announces that its keyboard measures 308 (W) x 132.2 (D) x 36.6 (H) mm. It is also rather light on the scale, membrane model obliges, it then displays 460 g with the cable.
As we told you, this is a membrane keyboard that is intended to be silent and responsive according to the manufacturer. Otherwise, we find a anti-ghosting as well as a 20 Key-rollover. The polling rate is at 1000 Hz when the lighting RGB is done via 5 programmable zones. Unfortunately, the cable, rubberized, does not seem to be detachable… Too bad.
On the other hand, the price is very soft since this keyboard is displayed at 49.90 €. Membrane aficionados will now be able to enjoy a compact model.
