Robotics: interacting with the nanoworld

THE nanotechnologynanotechnology cover many areas, fromautomobileautomobile to agri-food, including weapons and cosmetics. There roboticsrobotics being in full swing, the nano and microrobotiquemicrorobotique are widely studied. We will present research activities in the field of microrobotics.

We will show the scientific richness of this theme through examples and we will focus in particular on one area emergingemerging : how to interact with the nanoworld with a robotic interface capable of transmitting movements and making the efforts of this infinitely small world felt.

We will discuss, among other things, the teleoperationteleoperation – direct, virtual and augmented – and the interfaces hapticshaptics.
