Robot can make people hear voices by nudging them – human

In mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, those affected often also experience auditory hallucinations. But there are noninvasive ways to temporarily silence the whispering voices. For example, a significant proportion of test subjects responded positively to magnetic stimulation of the brain. Conversely, a Swiss research team has now succeeded in triggering such auditory hallucinations in healthy test subjects through external influences.
