Robocop Kraus: German band live again in the Czech Republic after 15 years

Thomas, what was the reaction of the Czech audience back then?

“As far as I remember, good. It was an exciting time for us. As a German band, we were able to play abroad quite quickly – in the Czech Republic and other European countries. We had a good response and great concerts. They were very energetic evenings with lots of fun. We always enjoyed going to the Czech Republic because the people were so positive. That’s why we’re so excited about the concerts now.”

The new album was released last year. What kind of record is this?

“It’s the first one after a long break. For me it was very exciting to release something again. We are all in a completely different place today than we were 25 years ago. At the same time, I’m pretty proud of the album because we managed to organize the six of us. And I think it sounds good too. We also really enjoy playing the songs live.”

You can hear the entire interview in the audio version. Robocop Kraus will play on Friday, October 4th, at the Svoboda Cultural Center (Kulturní centrum Svoboda) in Cheb and on Saturday, October 5th, at Prague’s Club 007. Tickets are still available for both concerts.
