The former Minister of Education, Roberto Fulcar, will undergo surgery in the coming days in Massachusetts, United States.
Surgery will be performed with the intention of counteracting the effects of a severe ulcerative colitis that affects the educator.
Fulcar, who is currently a minister without portfoliowas diagnosed with the disease following several specialized studies carried out in the United States, this was reported by his brother Julio Fulcar (Julito) in a video posted on the Twitter platform.
The relative also clarified that his brother has not had contact with the US authorities and that his stay in the US It is solely due to your health condition
The date of the operation was not provided by the brother of the person affected, but it is expected to be in the next few days.
This disease causes inflammation and ulcers (sores) in the digestive tract.
Julito, who is a deputy for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and spokesman for the Fulcar family, concluded by thanking the people who have shown solidarity for the situation they are going through.

It is recalled that the educator has been in the United States since October where he is treated following suffering from gastrointestinal ailments caused by severe ulcerative colitis.
