Razer and Boomslang
Razer, however, it is not the absolute creation of the duo. A marketing agency called Fitch created the whole brand Razer, including the name, the iconic three-headed serpent logo, the website, the packaging, and most importantly, the design and engineering of the mouse itself Razer Boomslang.
for the launch of Boomslang in 1999 the information is made clear. In the brand’s press release at the time, “Robert Krakoffgeneral manager of Razer”, who, despite not being the creator as such, would be framed as the public face behind the company, also being the protagonist of its promotion in video game competitions.
He was known for responding to fans and sitting down for interviews with amateur journalists who barely had a following, even giving them jobs.
“We are saddened by the passing of co-founder and chairman emeritus, Robert Krakoff, known to all as Razerguy”, reads in a statement from Razer On twitter . “Robert’s unwavering drive and passion for gaming lives on and continues to inspire us all.”
Yes ok Krakoff still advised the company for years as “president emeritus”, Razer It wasn’t his last act, far from it. He also founded MindFX Science, a brand that focuses on the sale of energy drinks and supplements, which serve as “a healthy alternative to high-caffeine energy drinks and pre-workout products.”
