Robert De Niro is in the middle of a legal conflict following accusations of gender discrimination by his former home help, Chase Robinson. Despite his success on the big screen with the recent premiere of ‘The Moon Killers’, a shadow of controversy looms in the actor’s personal life.
Robinson has filed a lawsuit in federal court, seeking a staggering $12 million (11.2 million euros at the exchange rate) in damage. She alleges that De Niro insulted her on several occasions, using offensive terms, and even made phone calls while he was in personal situations.
