Robert-Bourassa: a malaise possibly at the origin of an accident

A motorist in his fifties found himself in the opposite direction before hitting a snow bank in Quebec City on Friday evening, due to discomfort.

The incident occurred on boulevard Robert-Bourassa, near the intersection of boulevard de la Morille.

The man who was traveling in a southerly direction suddenly crossed the central reservation to find himself in the opposite direction and hit a snow bank at the edge of the road.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ), discomfort was involved in this accident. It is stated that the man was not driving particularly fast.

As the man was unconscious when first aid arrived, resuscitation maneuvers were carried out on him.

He was then transported to the hospital, where he is said to be in stable condition.
