But it doesn’t seem to be a temporary stay – Robbie is said to have already registered with the municipality of Saanen.

He is said to have rented a chalet in Gstaad BE for 4,600 francs per night, as the «Bernese Oberlander» reported. Comparisons with photos that the superstar shared on social media and advertisement photos of the apartment on various booking platforms would therefore correspond.
The chalet includes seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, three kitchens, three terraces, four balconies and a sauna. The 400 square meter house is located four minutes from the Gstaad village center and extends over three floors. Compared to other houses in the region, it is not even exceptionally luxuriously furnished; there is no pool, for example.
Officially registered in the community
Apparently Williams is currently enjoying a discount on the chalet price due to a nearby construction site, but between Christmas and New Year he will have to dig deeper into his pockets: the rental price is expected to skyrocket to over 14,000 francs.
It is not known whether the 49-year-old received a special price for his long-term rental. But it seems certain that Robbie doesn’t want to say goodbye to the Bernese Oberland so quickly, as he recently officially registered in the municipality of Saanen, as mayor Toni von Grüningen confirmed to the newspaper.

The Immobilienr.ch portal initially reported that the former Take That member had moved to Gstaad. It is not known whether Robbie’s villa on Lake Geneva, which he purchased in 2020 for 29 million francs, has now been sold.
He and his wife Ayda Field (44) and their children Charlie (7), Teddy (9), Coco (3) and Beau (2) spent time there during the pandemic. They temporarily moved back to London, but also purchased a 50 million mansion in Los Angeles. But the “Angels” interpreter seemed to miss Switzerland too much.
Williams has been particularly fond of the Bernese Oberland for a long time, so his wife shared snapshots of snowshoe hiking at Lake Lauenen while hiking in Lauterbrunnen. Robbie Williams himself said to SRF: “What really blew me away is Interlaken. I was there on August 1st and thought to myself, this is probably the most beautiful place in the world.”

It’s no big surprise that Williams has now moved to Gstaad. In general, the singer seems to really like Switzerland: “I can sleep well here. I value the peace, quiet and security here that I don’t feel anywhere else.”
This is also shown by the fact that Robbie usually seems to be traveling without security and sometimes, as a gag, he stands next to a roundabout and offers his services as a demonstrator. Apparently no one from the official side was harassing the superstar, and there was no aperitif for the newcomer, like David Schmid, Vice President of Saanen BE recently told 20 Minutes. “And I think I would rather meet Robbie Williams at the gas station, at Beck’s or in the flower shop than at an official event,” says Schmid.
