A video has been shared on social media in which an attempted robbery was captured on Guayabal Avenue and 9th Street South, by two men who ended up injuring the victim with a knife.
According to preliminary reports, two subjects approached the man with the intention of allegedly stealing his vehicle.

Apparently, the victim was carrying a firearm with which he managed to scare away the two criminals.
Despite his injuries, the victim managed to subdue the two subjects with the help of citizens until the authorities arrived.
The incident also left one of the criminals injured.

The two men were handed over to the National Police, who began the corresponding investigations. So far, the health status of the injured and the details of the attempted robbery are unknown.
Authorities are calling on the community to report any suspicious incidents and to avoid direct confrontations, as they could put the lives of all those involved at risk.
