According to what was known, the populations and members of the union asked the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) and the concessionaire Coviandina to expedite mobility actions in the road corridor.

In addition, the inhabitants of the municipalities demonstrated to ask the National Government and the entities responsible for the road to stabilize the slopes that exist at different points of the road, since several of them have been affected by frequent landslides.

According to the Coviandina report, this Saturday the blockades continued, so at the moment, there is a total closure of the road.

“If you urgently need to travel between Bogotá and Villavicencio, we remind you to use the alternative routes,” the concession indicated.

As reported by the governor of Cundinamarca, Jorge Rey, the Minister of Transportation, William Camargo will visit the municipality of Guayabetal today at 3 in the followingnoon to listen to the community.

“The municipalities of Cundinamarca located along the corridor of influence of the highway to the Llano have had to suffer, for years, long hours of waiting to get to their homes, every time there is a contingency on the highway, due to the plan of traffic management (PMT), which is implemented without considering a differential protocol for the entry of residents to their places of residence,” Rey published in his X account.

And he added that the commitments made with the community in the emergency 8 months ago, in the Naranjal village sector and in the care of Km 58 + 600, which continues to present serious risk for the population of Guayabetal, have not yet been attended to. .

“We trust that Minister Camargo will help us follow up on the fulfillment of these commitments, in addition to those derived from his visit today. We will continue to insist on seeking and finding solutions that allow the residents of this sector to improve their mobility around the area and have greater well-being and quality of life,” said the governor.

It is worth mentioning that the road to Llano is currently operating with alternate steps following the accident of a tanker truck in the Quebradablanca tunnel.

The transporters say that with mobility dynamics they are taking up to 14 hours on the road and that this is causing them great economic and time losses.
