Vivo Energy Maroc has just rolled out a new road safety awareness campaign as part of the #CodeWahed citizen movement. Under the theme “3tih Tissa3” (Give him space), this campaign raises awareness of the importance of respecting the minimum safety distance required between road users.
It is on the occasion of the celebration of National Road Safety Day, commemorated on February 18 of each year, that Vivo Energy Morocco in partnership with the National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) is launching this new campaign. The latter intends to make all road users, car, bicycle or motorcycle drivers, aware of respect for the highway code. Also, particular emphasis is placed on users of two wheels as this is one of the most vulnerable targets.

“Road safety is part of our company’s DNA and holds a major place in our commitment. It is for this reason that we are strengthening awareness for a better culture of road safety”, spoke for the occasion Hind Mejjati Alami. And the Communication and CSR Director of Vivo Energy Morocco continues: “Vivo Energy Morocco chooses with the “3tih Tissa3” campaign to focus on a subject that is often too little mentioned and yet vital. Our approach is long-term through continuous awareness-raising to encourage greater individual and collective responsibility”.
The oil operator which specifies that through these initiatives, it aims to contribute to the achievement of the national objective of reducing, by 2026, road mortality by 50%. It should be recalled that with this in mind, the company has set up a comprehensive road safety program aimed at promoting the development of a culture of prevention in terms of safety and health involving all of the company’s stakeholders, employees, under -contractors, partners and the general public.
