Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications, through its departmental agencies, carried out maintenance work on several unpaved roads that connect strategic locations in Misiones, as well as in Amambay. In this department, more than 120 families from several communities were benefited.
Through District 8 of the MOPC, loading and patching works were carried out on several unpaved roads that connect strategic locations in Misiones.
The sections that were worked on connect Laureles – Yabebyry, Costa Pucú with San Ignacio and the route that connects Panchito López, Baúles and Yabebyry. Additionally, the roads were repaired by the Co’eyú 1 company, in coordination with personnel from the Municipality of Ayolas.
These interventions have a positive impact on the transportation of local products for sale and will also boost tourism to the Jesuit missions. They also strengthen connectivity between rural communities and urban centers, allowing residents to more easily access health and education services.
In the Amambay department, the Ministry of Public Works, through District No. 13, carried out maintenance work on local roads that benefited more than 120 families from various communities.
In the municipality of Bella Vista Norte, maintenance work was carried out on the Calle 6 – San Isidro section, benefiting some 20 families who use the road daily.
Similarly, in Karapai, where 100 families live, the work focused on Calle 20, while in Bella Vista Norte, on the section that connects Colonia Unida with San Isidro.
The works included patching and restoring the platform with a motor grader, to ensure a safe and uniform transit surface, as well as to improve trafficability and road safety.
These improvements are expected to bring greater security and comfort for local residents, as well as a significant boost to economic and social activities in the Amambay region.
