Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) carried out maintenance and repair work on several rural roads in the Alto Paraná department, benefiting a total of 3,080 inhabitants.
The MOPC report mentions that in Minga Guazú, 120 meters of road were reconstructed at Km 20 of the Acaray route, and cleaning work was carried out on 2 kilometers of shoulder at Km 24, benefiting 380 people.
In Colonia Tavapy 2, in the municipality of Tavapy, 15 kilometers of road were restored and shaped, directly benefiting the local population.
In the La Candelaria Community, located in the municipality of Oleary, cleaning and shaping work was carried out on 40 kilometers of ditches, as well as the profiling and restoration of 22 kilometers of platform, benefiting 850 people.
Finally, in the town of Santa Lucía, in the municipality of Itakyry, 10 kilometers of road were restored and 8 kilometers were patched, benefiting 600 people.
These maintenance works on the rural road network of Alto Paraná facilitate the access of communities to basic services, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the region.
In this way, the MOPC, through its Directorate of Rural Roads, reaffirms its commitment to continue working to ensure the proper conservation and improvement of rural road infrastructure, addressing the needs of the most remote populations and strengthening the territorial integration of the country.
