An impressive road accident took place late Thursday afternoon on the road between the village of Morhet and the Smatch of Vaux-sur-Sûre. A car apparently hit a draft horse. Firefighters from Neufchâteau and Bastogne intervened on the scene. The road was closed to traffic during the intervention.

The woman’s car ended up in a field after hitting the draft horse. Seriously injured, the life of the lady, whose identity has not been revealed to us, is in danger.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office was therefore informed of the facts but “no file for investigation given that apart from the horse, there is no offense. The horse was euthanized by a veterinarian who came to the scene,” explains the Luxembourg Public Prosecutor’s Office.
