The launch of the scientific program accompanying the World Mental Health Day at “Riyadh Health”
Under the auspices of the Director General of Health Affairs in the Riyadh region, Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al-Shahrani, the activities of the scientific program accompanying the celebration of World Mental Health Day 2022, mental health and well-being for all, were launched on Monday morning, in the main hall at the directorate’s headquarters.
Dr. Al-Shahrani opened the two-day sessions, welcoming guests and participants from government agencies and NGOs, stressing that the work environment is one of the most important environments in which mental health must be promoted, and it supports and overcomes any difficulties employees may face, pointing out that “Riyadh Health” realizes that the quality of life Social and psychological for employees will, God willing, lead to achieving a quality of work life and thus higher job satisfaction, which will help in achieving the vision and mission of any organization.
For his part, the Assistant Director-General for Quality and Output Monitoring, Dr. Ali Al-Juma, expressed his hope that the scientific program would support the existing efforts to strengthen the roles of the upcoming supervisory directorate and achieve scientific benefit for guests from outside the “Riyadh Health”, adding that any task performed by the employee may need psychological skills to help him its performance. Al-Jumah stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen and support these skills and deal with everything that hinders the employee’s psychological and social health, stressing that it is the responsibility of any leader to take into account dealing with existing or potential sources of pressure, which, God forbid, may lead the employee to job burnout and therefore cannot Achieving his career goals and the goals of his employer.
About (50) candidates from various governmental and private agencies participate in the scientific program, most notably the Emirate of Riyadh, the Ministry of Justice, the Riyadh police, in addition to the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Wedad Charitable Society, and school health in education.
