Riyadh Municipality Approves 8 Housing Plans Equal to 1,900 Football Fields in First Quarter 2021

The Riyadh Municipality approved 8 housing plans, the equivalent of an area of ​​1,900 football fields, during the first quarter of this year.

The Municipality of the region, during its review to keep pace with the rapid urban growth in the capital, stated that the areas of the approved plans amounted to 23 million square meters.

With regard to development lands, the Municipality of the region confirmed that the area of ​​residential lands amounted to 4.6 million square meters, with a number of lands amounting to 14.4 thousand plots, while the area of ​​gardens and open areas amounted to 3.1 million square meters.

She added that the adoption of plans contributes to keeping pace with the rapid urban growth in the capital, and providing housing units that enhance the increase in supply to citizens, in addition to achieving the city’s urban development goals, supporting the city’s economy and enhancing its revenues.
