In River, the function that a club should have is more than clear. Although soccer is the activity that arouses the greatest passion, the reality is that an infinite number of sports and social activities are carried out. But it is also to highlight the inclusive and supportive vision that the club has and that is reflected in the great actions of the River Foundation, whose function is to help those who need it most.

In recent days, a solidarity auction of five shirts from the professional squad of the duel once morest the Institute was held, which was left in the hands of Martín Demichelis’s team 3-1. All proceeds will go to the “Youth to the World” program, which includes helping 50 boys from the Padre Mugica neighborhood so they can finish their secondary studies and then go to university.

The shirts chosen for the auction were those of Nacho Fernández, Franco Armani, Esequiel Barco, Andrés Herrera and Pablo César Solari. Precisely that of the latter -who is going through a great present in River- was the one that raised the most money: $1,030,000 was paid for his jacket, then those of Nacho Fernández and Franco Armani appear among the most coveted. In total, the collection was $3,060,000.
