1. Gain weight: Several scientific studies ensure that there is nothing specific to beer that produces abdominal fat, so the fattening calories come from the alcohol that it may contain. Each beer can contain up to 35 grams of carbohydrates.

3. Suffering from hypertension: blood pressure might rise if more than three beers are consumed daily. The problem with these types of diseases is that they usually affect the heart.

4. Increases the risk of premature death: the National Library of Medicine of the National Center for Biotechnology and Information, if beer is drunk excessively and frequently the body might have “a risk of premature deaththan those who drink moderately or do not consume alcohol at all”, explains GastroLab.

5. Suffering from liver diseases: If more than 30 grams of beer is consumed per day, cirrhosis of the body may develop and lead to severe liver disease.
