Rising Stock: Badgers’ Standout Performers from Spring Football Practices

Wisconsin’s spring football practices have recently come to a close, and there were several standout performers who have positioned themselves for success in the upcoming season. Despite the ongoing quarterback battle between Van Dyke and Braedyn Locke, both players showed marked improvement throughout the spring.

Van Dyke, a transfer from Miami, took significant strides in the second half of the spring. He appeared much more comfortable in the offense, leading three touchdown drives during the spring scrimmage and completing all 11 passes for over 135 yards. His improved decision-making and ability to run the ball added another dimension to Wisconsin’s offense.

Another player who shined during spring practices was Kekahuna. Known for his entertaining and effective playmaking ability, Kekahuna frequently made defenders miss with his speed and cutting ability.
