Kolkata: Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been named the vice-captain of the Indian team for the Twenty20 series once morest the West Indies by the BCI.

The BCCI has appointed Rohit Sharma as the new deputy batsman following KL Rahul missed the series. The first match of the series will be played on February 14 in Kolkata.

Rahul was unable to play due to a leg injury. The ball is set to become one of the team’s future captains. A selection panel headed by Chetan Sharma considered the ball for the post of vice-president.
