The results show that during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, the residential consumer market was “vital and popular”, and sales revenue of consumer-related industries increased by 21.3% year-on-year. Among them, service consumption and commodity consumption increased by 20.9% and 21.6% respectively year-on-year.
The tourism consumption market is booming. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, driven by the “extended” Golden Week effect, residents’ travel increased significantly, and the tourism market in various places continued to be booming. Sales revenue from tourism services increased 1.1 times year-on-year. Consumption of daily necessities and household goods grew rapidly. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, sales revenue from daily necessities, cosmetics, clothing, shoes and hats increased by 27.5% year-on-year. Sales revenue from furniture retail and ceramic stone decoration materials increased by 41.3% and 32.3% respectively year-on-year, reflecting the rise in home-related consumption.
Consumption of grain, oil, food and consumption upgrade commodities grew steadily. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, sales revenue of grain, oil, food and comprehensive retail increased by 21.5% and 25% respectively year-on-year. Among them, the sales revenue of fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs, milk and other necessities increased by 28.8% and 29.6% respectively year-on-year. Sales revenue from gold, silver jewelry, communication equipment and other commodities increased by 15.5% and 16.5% respectively year-on-year.
