“This compensation will provide the households concerned an aid equivalent to the freezing of regulated gas prices from October 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022“, adds Matignon, specifying that it will be “automatically passed on to their charges”.

Minister Emmanuelle Wargon had recognized in the morning on South Radio a “hole in the racket” in this “price shield” promised by the government to mitigate the persistent rise in energy prices, via the freezing of regulated gas prices and a 4% limit on the regulated electricity price beginning of 2022.
