Rise in Covid cases: the Brussels Parliament returns to code orange and reimposes the wearing of masks within it

In front of the current increase in Covid-19 contaminationsparticularly within the institution, the Brussels Parliament has decided to return to code orange for its operation and to reimpose the wearing of a mask within it, confirmed Rachid Madrane, president of the institution.

A decision which concerns the deputies and the administration of the Parliament, which takes effect immediately and which will remain in force at least until July 22.

The average number of daily contaminations has risen above 5,000 at the country level, up 44% over one week. It is 48.6% in the Brussels region.
