Suspect Mai Watanabe (25), a self-proclaimed store clerk who happily talks to the camera. She was called “Riri-chan” and was doing her video distribution.
Watanabe sells a unique manual that captures the hearts of men named “Riri Commit” on SNS, which is believed to be his own.
She called the act of receiving cash from a man she met on social media under the guise of assistance as a “money girl,” and was disseminating the method.

Since March of this year, a 63-year-old man from Moriyama Ward, Nagoya City and a 43-year-old man from Chiryu City, Aichi Prefecture were defrauded of a total of 10.65 million yen by a female college student. It turned out that Watanabe’s manual was used at that time, which led to his arrest on suspicion of aiding fraud.
In response to the investigation, Watanabe has admitted to the allegations.
“There is no doubt that I made and sold the manual and gave advice. I knew it would be a scam.”
Watanabe is believed to have sold a set of two fraudulent manuals for regarding 30,000 yen to dozens of women, and police are investigating additional charges.
