It has to be the NFL in the brain: Pop icon and entrepreneur Rihanna will perform at next year’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, the NFL announced Sunday.

In a statement to NFL entertainment company Jay-Z, Roc Nation was one of several senior executives at the halftime show, calling Rihanna a “generation of talent.”
“Rihanna is a generational talent. A woman with humble beginnings that exceeds every expectation,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “Born on the small island of Barbados, who has become one of the most famous artists ever. Built in business and entertainment.”

The singer joins a group of well-known musicians such as Prince Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez who performed at halftime. Last year’s show, starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, was nominated for five Emmys and won three Emmys.
