But Rihanna made sure her look was worth the wait.
With the arrival of the main star at the “Met Gala” ceremony, she concluded the general part of the event’s activities, that is, the red carpet (white), with her appearance in a luxurious white dress signed by “Valentino”, topped with a huge white jacket decorated with large camellia flowers as well.
In the style of Karl Lagerfeld, the late designer who was celebrated this year by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rihanna donned fingerless gloves and sunglasses adorned with thick false eyelashes.
Underneath the oversized jacket, Rihanna revealed her bodycon dress with narrow shoulder straps.
She was accompanied to the party by Asap Rocky, who wore a red-striped loincloth over distressed jeans, a black suit jacket and a skinny tie.
