Samuel Etienne was part of this system. The Anti-Tobacco Alliance suggested he conduct the fake interview to use his notoriety to cause a stir on social media. The host recorded nearly two hours of video and streamed it live on Twitch on Tuesday, July 30 Visible on YouTube : An eight-minute fake interview with an actor playing fake industrialist Nick Otting, followed by a lengthy interview with the chairman of the Anti-Tobacco League. The association subsequently contacted several influencers to repost the video, particularly Akuni.
The initial activities of this anti-tobacco alliance were actually targeted at young people. In a lengthy interview with Samuel Etienne, the president of the Anti-Tobacco League explained that this generation is less receptive to traditional campaigns, such as photos on cigarette packs. Therefore, the association hopes to find them on social networks through satire and parody and get them to react. ACT doesn’t want to blame consumers either, instead condemning manufacturers for their cynicism.
